The corporate education market was valued at €2.45 billion in 2025
-
Turnover in the corporate education sector consolidated its growth in 2025, underpinned by positive demand trends and the progressive development of supply. Turnover therefore grew 5.6% in 2025, reaching €2.45 billion.
-
Despite growth at some of the leading companies in recent years, partly thanks to the entry of investors, the sector continues to show a high degree of fragmentation, with supply made up of a large number of small specialised consultancy firms and training companies coexisting with a smaller group of business schools and universities.

INFORMA's DBK Sectoral Observatory recently published these insights in the 'Corporate Education' Special Report.
Madrid, 19 March 2026.- According to INFORMA's (Cesce's subsidiary) DBK Sectoral Observatoryâa leading provider of business, financial, sectoral, and marketing information in Spain and Portugalâthe value of the corporate education market stood at €2.45 billion in 2025, after rising 5.6% year-over-year.
Business expansion was driven by higher corporate investment in training programmes, as well as the rollout of training initiatives financed with public funds. In parallel, supply expanded, with investment in broadening programme portfolios and greater adaptation to labour market needs.
By operator type, specialised consultancy firms and training companies accounted for around 90% of the market, totalling about €2.215 billion in 2025, up 5.5%. Business schools and universities, meanwhile, generated revenue of €235 million, after growing 6.8%.
By delivery mode, face-to-face training remained the most important, accounting for over half of total turnover. Next came distance learning, with nearly 35% of the market, while blended learning represented around 13.5%.
In 2025, there were about 2,580 companies active in corporate education, dominated by small specialised consultancy firms and training companies, which accounted for around 95% of the total, versus business schools and universities (the remaining 5%). In recent years, this latter group expanded its offering to corporate clients significantly, attracted by the sector's growth potential.
In addition, investors entered the share capital of some operators, driving their growth. Nevertheless, the supply structure remained highly fragmented, with the top five operators accounting for just 6.2% of total market value in 2025; the top ten, 9.1%.
