Madrid, 9 June 2026.- According to INFORMA's (Cesce's subsidiary) DBK Sectoral Observatory—a leading provider of business, financial, sectoral, and marketing information in Spain and Portugal—the office furniture market extended the positive trend of recent fiscal years in 2025, reaching a value of €425 million, representing growth of 6.3%.

This performance consolidated the positive trend of recent years, underpinned by buoyant corporate demand, the rise of hybrid working models, more flexible spaces, and significant investment in large-scale projects.

The furniture segment accounted for 53% of the market, after recording growth of 6.6%. The seating market rose by 5%, while demountable partitioning was the most dynamic segment, up 10%.

Exports stood at €273 million, after growing by 4.6%, with seating performing strongly, while metal furniture also maintained a positive trend. France remained the main overseas destination, accounting for 27% of total exports.

Imports reached €183 million, up 6.4%, driven mainly by increased purchases of metal furniture. China strengthened its position as the leading supplier, with a share now at 41.5% of the total.

The value of sold production reached €515 million, rising by 5.3%, marking a recovery after the decline recorded the previous year and reflecting the strong performance of both the domestic market and overseas sales.

The supply structure is characterised by the predominance of small companies, although closures in recent years have supported the trend towards greater concentration. The top five companies reached a combined market share of 45.5% in 2025, while the top ten accounted for 61%.
