INFORMA's DBK Sectoral Observatory recently published these insights in the 'Multiservice Groups' Special Report.
Madrid, 29 April 2026.- According to INFORMA's (Cesce's subsidiary) DBK Sectoral Observatoryâa leading provider of business, financial, sectoral, and marketing information in Spain and Portugalârevenue in Spain generated by multiservice groupsâthose present in at least two sectors among cleaning, catering, building and facilities maintenance, security, temporary work and call centresâclosed 2025 up 6.3%, reaching around €13.23 billion.
Including both domestic activity and activity in overseas markets, total revenue rose to €14.28 billion, with business generated abroad accounting for 7.4%, equivalent to around €1.05 billion.
The main line of business was cleaning. In 2025, it accounted for 34.5% of multiservice groups' aggregated revenue in Spain, equivalent to €4.57 billion. Catering and building and facilities maintenance followed, with market shares of 13.8% and 11.2% that year, respectively; followed by security (10.5%) and temporary work (5.8%).
Revenue growth in Spain ranged that year between 5-6% in the call centres and home assistance services segments, and 6-7% in cleaning, building and facilities maintenance, security and temporary work, exceeding 7.5% in catering.
Multiservice groups' share of the total value of the markets in which they operate was high in areas such as catering and home assistance services, with market shares of 37% and 32%, respectively, and cleaning, at 30%.
In a less favourable macroeconomic scenario, the combined domestic turnover of multiservice groups is expected to see a moderate slowdown in growth in the short to medium term, affecting all diversification sectors.
Currently, around 80 multiservice groups/companies operate in Spain. The supply of this type of operator is expected to decline over the coming years, amid ongoing acquisitions and mergers between companies and divestment initiatives by some groups.
